May 14 at 7 PM: The 2013 Noel Q. King Lecture, “Higher Mysteries: Faith and Theology in Crime Fiction”

The third annual King Lecture continues a series dedicated to the memory of Noel Q. King, UCSC professor of history and comparative religion, promoting and exploring the dialogue between faiths.  This year’s “lecture” also incorporates the interests of his wife, crime writer Laurie R. King, in conversation with three other award-winning crime writers, an event we are calling: “Higher Mysteries: Faith and Theology in Crime Fiction.” Joining Laurie will be authors Zoe Ferraris, Sharan Newman, and Julia Spencer-Fleming.
