This is a hilarious youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy9hQDT6fhI) with Hitler cast as the head of Second Life.

Wow, as headings go that is an attention grabber.

Made ya look! :)

I'm not even sure which film this clip is lifted from, but someone had quite a time coming up with these new subtitles.

I haven't been to SL in a while--I liked going to the amusement parks there and riding the rides. DD liked to watch and laugh at my dumb-looking avatar (a freebie goth-girl) go on the log ride at the water park. I was meaning to buy a respectable looking avatar to walk around in, but never got around to it before I fell out of going there. I also liked Information Island, which had library and university branches. I met a Chicago-area librarian there who is a big LRK fan!

You hear about all the adult-oriented stuff there, but I didn't see anything wild, what with family-friendly filter on.

Made ya look! :) Yes you did. I have a vague idea of what second life is, but have never investigated it. I barely have enough hours in the day to work, write and answer email, oh, and visit here. LOL Cheers.

It's a virtual world. Those kinds of venues are much more popular and mainstream with the 8-12yo set, ie Webkinz, Club Penguin, etc, than with any other demographic. I did some scouting around SL early last year to see if we might want an LRK presence of some kind there. I found it to be an interesting place, but still in formation. and with a lot of bugs. Maybe we'll revisit it in a few years--maybe when these Webkinz maniacs get old enough to read the Russells. :D

I like your plan, take over the world one 14 year old at a time. I can just see you rubbing your hands together and laughing, as a friend of mine calls it, the evil overlord laugh. Bawhahahahahahahah

BTW those clips are from an 1981 made for TV movie called "The Bunker" starring Anthony Hopkins as Hitler.
