I realise I'm posting alot of new threads recently but I get bored at work! So...sorry :) Heres a few quotes that made me giggle...

The Doctor: Come on! We can all have a good flirt later!
William Shakespeare: Is that a promise, Doctor?
The Doctor: Ooooh, 57 academics just punched the air!

The Professor: Oh, every human being's heard of Utopia. Where have you been?
The Doctor: Bit of a hermit.
The Professor: [skeptically] A hermit... with uh, friends?
The Doctor: Hermits United. We meet up every ten years and swap stories about caves. It's good fun. For a hermit.

The Doctor: Must be a spatio-temporal hyperlink.
Mickey: What's that?
The Doctor: No idea. Just made it up. Didn't want to say "magic door".

Jack: [incredulously] Who has a sonic screwdriver?
The Doctor: I do!
Jack: Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks, 'Ooo, this could be a little more sonic?'"
The Doctor: What, you've never been bored? Never had a long night? Never had a lot of cabinets to put up?

I LOVE Doctor Who and I ADORE David Tennant, might make a good SH, if a bit weedy...No? Just in my head? ok...:)

I LOVE Doctor Who and I ADORE David Tennant, might make a good SH, if a bit weedy...No? Just in my head? ok...:)I watched Dr. Who back in the 70s with Tom Baker, yes, I'm that old. LOL But, have just started watching the new version with David Tennant. Saw a few of the previous Doctor also. I like his Doctor, but just can't see him as Holmes, not even when I squint.

I did see the Shakespeare Episode and fell on the floor laughing at the above quote. All the lines the Doctor fed Will were funny, showing a goodly amount of affection for good old Will. Thanks for sharing these lines and giving me a giggle tonight.

I'm afraid I have wierd tendencies when it comes to Sherlock Holmes! Daniel Day-Lewis is another possibility I think.....

Jeremy Brett had actually mentioned that he would have liked to have had Daniel Day-Lewis take over the role of Holmes.

I know many that think David Tennant could do it. The big fear though is the fangirls. Tennant playing Holmes would be like Barrowman playing Holmes...fangirls galore...eep!

Holmes will be turned into a sex object...albeit with much hesitation on his part I'm sure...:D
