Welcome, Charles. Check out all the threads. There is a great deal here to discuss, share and read. So open an area and see what strikes your fancy. Pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Welcome to the Virtual Book Club (VBC), Charles! As Strawberry Curls indicated there are a lot of different and interesting threads available; just pick something that looks interesting, read through the postings, and decide if there is anything you want to say regarding the topic. An easy place to start is inside the Great Room forum, under the thread name of "Quick survey: What are you reading today?" Feel free to share with us what you are currently reading or recently finished, and enjoy all the previous comments from our posters. Most importantly, just have fun, and feel free to ask questions if you have any!
Again, welcome!!

John.

Welcome, Charles! Newness is cool, no worries. Kick back, put your dogs up and tell us what you like to read when you're not taking in an LRK book. :)

And I'll second John's suggestion about looking through the discussions in The Great Room (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=8) area--lots of fun stuff there. And the monthly discussions, each listed in a separate subforum on the forum's front page, are great for more in-depth focus on individual books. If you have any trouble, just holler, and someone will be along to help. Or you can email me, too--either way is fine.

Hi glad to see another on the VBC. Which of the LRK books have you read? My favorites are the Russell series. The Moor in particular. Read around there are lots of interesting threads.

Welcome Charles...I too am fairly new and still a bit overwhelmed by all the places to chat on this forum but everyone has made me feel very welcome so far. I am still reading the Russell series...working on The Game right now. I also have read Grave Talent but not any of the stand alones yet. My fav so far is O Jersulem and Justice Hall ranks up there too. I have to say my lease fav was MROW but I know I am in the minority there. Most people just love it. I guess it is just me. I may try a reread and see if I like it better. I reread BEEK after O Jersulem and liked it much better the second time. Again welcome!:p
