Can someone post the Shamus award winners? Shamus Awards were given during Bcon (if not BY Bcon but no one has the info). i was emailing a friend who apparently won one but I could not find anything about this award.

The Macavity awards i see posted on MRI's page and Deadly Pleasures has the Barrys but no one seems to have the Shamus. (and boy are the awards consistent inis year! I guess i better read that Tana French book.)

Wow, all of those titles sound really interesting. I see a trip to the library in the near future!

I prostrate myself at your feet for this!!! thank you so much! not only do I feel dumb for not finding it but it's intensely cool to know one of my very closest friends won one. Not sure what "the hammer" is - they do give a "lifetime acheivement" but it's called "the eye" and I think Bill won it already but I'll find that one out later.

thank you!!!

My pleasure, Andi, it only took me a few google searches. I loved the challenge. --Alice

Ah, see, I made the mistake of actually going to the PWA "official" site (aka Randisi's home page which is way out of date), not the blog (which I had no idea even existed) and saw nothing there, even after waiting a week or so post-Bcon. And tried entering the keywords different ways and still didn't do it well. I need more smarts. If I were still working on the cluelass site, i'd have lots of updating to do (esp. since the web host for Randisi's page is Aol Hometown and they are shutting down.)

Andi,

I also found this website by way of a bookmark that they were giving about at Bouchercon. They seem to have all the recent awards listed:

And they have some other fun stuff.
