A while back, Meags2387 posted about having honeybee-themed prints available for people to make art with. This is the place to post your images!

I bound my images together into a book, along with Russellisms on almost every page. I chose quotes I liked, or passages that made me laugh.
They are attached in page order. There's more images in my album. :-D
I love making art. The 15 weeks has really given loads of opportunities and I am so grateful. Have to use the degree somewhere.....
ENJOY THE IMAGES! And thanks to Meags for the prints to work with. -Sara

Sara, as you might know (who doesn't at this point?) I love quotes from the Russell books, and I'm blown away by your creativity. This little book is magnificent and such a treat to see. Thank you for sharing it. I only wish I had a small portion of your talent so I could not only conceive of something like this, but produce it with such a clever melding of images and words. Kudos!!

Sara, your creations are beautiful and so satisfying! I wonder if there is any possibility of getting a book of your Russellism published?

If permission was granted by the text copyright holder, of course!

Hello all, and THANK YOU for your kind words and praise.
Actually, my initial idea was to create these works with Meags' prints and then auction them off for benefits to the Heifer effort. It's being checked out with Vicki and The Powers That Be, so if you REALLY like it and want to help with Heifer, it might be up for auction! Yay for using our powers for good!
There's more images in my album- a few close-ups of pages. Enjoy. And thank you.

Sara,
Your work is fantastic!!! I think an auction would be a wonderful event!
P.S. Meags and Sara,
I requested some of the paper, but have been so overwhelmed with all the contests (and under inspired with what exactly to do (creative juices not flowing)) that I haven't done anything with them as yet. I can't even promise to get to it withing the 15 weeks and do apologize for that.

A great idea. I'm ready to bid on pages 3 and 4.
Absolutely beautiful work, Sara! Excellent choice of quotes as well.

It's bound together, with pages done on both the front and back.... separating could prove difficult! Bid on the whole book and be the envy of the VBC! :)
And Bachi, don't worry. The gallery is here, post whenever. NO pressure!

Sara, that's absolutely beautiful! I had a similar idea but there's no way I could have produced anything so lovely! Mine is a work in progress - I'm glad the gallery is open for a while!

Sara, your books are stunning. Do you have a link to any of your other (non-Russell) projects? I'd love to see them.

Not yet- it's in the works. :) Have to get with the online program here...
I went to art school, but my job is in education, so art is more a side-job than a mainstream thing for me. I've done BIG murals (an entire elementary school's hallways, a highschool science classroom, and I'm currently doing a pediatric nursing home) so those are more difficult to photograph en masse. Most of my other work is textiles/embroidery.
When photos are up I'll let you know! :)
