I had not seen this memorial or pictures of it. The sculptures of Roosevelt don't capture him very well. He was such an animated man with mobile facial expressions that a still and dignified medium isn't the best way to portray him. The depression sculpture is outstanding. We had a radio just like the one in the third photo.
