Hello, everyone.
I already know some of you from "Letters of Mary," where I'm known as Merrily or "I'm getting too old for this," he muttered. I'm a fan of all Laurie's books, but have been especially devoted to the Mary Russell series since I read the first one, the year it came out. I was practically lying by the bookshop door, metaphorically speaking, waiting for the next one to arrive.
I'm a big reader in general, especially mysteries and historical fiction, and (not surprisingly) am a librarian. Looking forward to knowing you better, Merrily

Welcome, Patches! It's great to have another member from LoM--that's such a great community. I love how lively and supportive it is there. And you're also a librarian! <Radiates librarian love> You're in good company here--you'll find many fellow librarians around the forum, as well as many devoted readers who love their librarians.

When you get a chance, drop by the Hospitality Suite thread (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=12) to say hi to the gang. And we're always looking for book recommendations in the Beloved Bookshelf thread (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28), as well as movie recommendations in the movie cabinet thread (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=31). I look forward to seeing you around the forum!
