Just a bit of inspired sketching. Color to your heart's content. Please post if you are able. I'd love to see what folks can do with it.

This is lovely, Tygercub. I have zero artistic ability, can't even color well, but I look forward to seeing what others do with this. It is quite striking in black and white and I love this vision of Russell and Holmes. Did you draw this?

Thank you, SC. Yes, I sketched it last night after deciding that the traditional Sidney Padget Holmes was the one I wanted to stick with in my head while reading the series. I'd recently finished MREG, and that last scene on the docks was still fresh in my mind (lovely scene... absolutely lovely). :D

When I saw your sketch the scene on the docks was what I immediately thought of. I would love to see more of your art work.

I couldn't grab this to print out. I have never tried to grab a picture from this site, but it just won't let me, so coloring is not an option.

I couldn't grab this to print out.
If you "right click" on the image, there should be an option to either save the image to disc, or copy the image. If you choose "copy image", just paste it into another program like Word or Write.
When I left click on the image, it opens in another window. If it does the same for you, perhaps you could print it directly from that window?
Hope this helps!:)

Just a bit of inspired sketching.
Not unlike Alice, I'm lucky to draw stick figures recognizable as anything; your "bit of inspired sketching" looks suspiciously like some talented artistic ability to me:)! Thank you for sharing!

Coloring! Yeah! I didn't have an opportunity to take an art class this year, so I don't really get to let lose with the drawing stuff. Something fun to do this weekend!
Wonderfully done, just marvelous!

Hope this helps!:)I tried last night, and it would not save the image to my pictures or anywhere else on the computer. It saved a blank, but I will try again and see if I can get it into Word then print. BTW there are three art contests during the 20 Weeks of Buzz -- you must enter this and other drawings, you are very talented and would stand a good chance of winning IMHO. Go HERE (http://bit.ly/97SOTB) for information on the contests.

Maybe it depends on what kind of browser you use. I use Firefox, and when I left-clicked on the image, it opened large in a separate tab, from which I could have printed or, I suppose, saved the page to my computer.

I went into Foxfire and it copied it just find. Thanks for the heads up, it was getting frustrating as I've copied many a picture before but this one was defeating me. ;)

THANK YOU! I don't know if the new webpage design did the trick, or simply your link, but I could never get to that page... or at least never recognized it because the images were all missing.
I shall enter, hopefully many times as I'm currently inspired to do the scene at the Colonial America... the image has been bugging me since I read that passage. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!:D

Oh, that is wonderful. I'm so happy I was able to help you get into the website. BTW it was just revamped this week with a total makeover, so maybe that is why things are working for you now. I look forward to seeing your entries. Good luck!
