Hi and welcome to the VBC, Torin! A few years ago, I read a Brides of Eden, YA historical novel by Corvallis author Linda Crew. It was about a strange religious cult that developed there in the late 1800s--an interesting story, well-done by the author. Linda Crew visited a discussion of it we had at Readerville, and was an excellent guest.
