Hello and welcome, tamales--it's good to have you here in the VBC!
With a dab of chutzpah, and a whole lot of talent!
Hi, John! <waves> Yep. I'm very thankful LRK had the audacity to take up Holmes where ACD left him and to pair him up with a female alter-ego of sorts. My reading life would have been much poorer had she not, as I avoided mysteries entirely until some of my online reading buddies prodded me quite insistently into reading BEEK. It was like discovering an entire new world--I busted through the whole Russell series, then the Martinellis and on to stand-alones, other series, classics, etc.
Explore the forum, tamales--the spotlight discussion of BEEK with LRK is going on here (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63) and the general talk about LRK books is here in the LRK Reading Room (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=4). And you can tell us about your favorite books and movies and other fun stuff in the Great Room (http://laurierking.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=8) area.
