Hey folks,

Been a long time since I've been here, but I had to share something fun. I posted a book trailer on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-BRb2ipU5I) for Diana Gabaldon's graphic novel, THE EXILE. I had so much fun doing this one, I reeeeally want to do one for THE PIRATE KING when it comes out!

What kinds of things would you like to see in an LRK book trailer?

I'm also thinking about one for the next Kate Shugak novel. Love me some Dana Stabenow...:-D

Ideas anyone?

I'd love to see the first meeting between Holmes and Russell! You know, with the book and the bees and Russell deducing all the information about the bees and boggling Holmes' mind a little bit!

And I'd love to see them dressed as gypsies when they went off to find Jessica Simpson.

And I'd love to see Russell ordering all those dogs to HUSH! And they all put their tails between their legs and skulked off.

Just a few of my fave scenes!

Karen, that music is from a very cool thing that's in the works. The short story is that a lyricist and composer duo have made a deal with Diana to do a song cycle that will later be used as the basis for an Outlander musical. The song I used is called "Is Tu Fuil 'o Mo Chuislean." It is the blood vows used in the wedding ceremony set to music.

Another question for the masses ;-) : What would make you buy an LRK book if you'd never read one, based only on what you saw and heard in a book trailer?

Put them in their Gypsy clothes, (sitting on the back of the wagon) on the cover! That would intrigue me.
