Hi, all! *waves*
As you may have heard, the Poisoned Pen is livestreaming a special event tonight at 7:00 Mountain Time, with Our Fearless Leader interviewing author Connie Willis. (If you just heard a piercing fan-girly squeal, that was me, in the midst of meeting-of-the-favorite-authors brain-melt).
Willis is the author of such spectacular books as Blackout, All Clear, The Doomsday Book, and To Say Nothing of the Dog, and if you haven't read her work, hie thee to a bookstore or library, ASAP! You won't be sorry. This is a great opportunity to see two of the smartest and most skillful writers of this era, both of whom are working at the top of their respective genres.
With any luck, and the cooperation of the cyber-gods, the whole interview will be broadcast live right here (http://www.livestream.com/poisonedpenauthorevent), so tune in and join in the background chatter/commentary here or where ever your LRK friends are gathered.

A little tip: We don’t pay for the service to webcast so they put annoying advertisements in. If you opt to watch a couple of ads back to back, you can watch for 45 minutes or so unperturbed.
